It all adds up to a fun way to store school supplies!

When you need a fun way to store some school supplies, and you have this:

plus this:

plus this:

You end up with this!

So easy, so fun, and the possibilities are endless!  This was done mostly by my 4yo, so we kept it simple.  He spray painted the cleaned cans (do check for possible sharp edges), chose which trim should go on which can, and helped glue it on around the top!  I thought that adding some cute labels would be fun too, but he had finished with the project, and I chose to leave it.  Nobody likes other people to come along and fix what they’ve done!  But if you do this project, I hope you’ll add fun labels and let me see them!

Enjoy!

P.S. Sewing patterns are on sale for $1 a piece at Hancock fabrics through Monday!  We are definitely making a trip there.  Armed with a collection of $1 patterns, I will soon be mastering the sewing machine.  Watch out :).
